Linsco are currently recruiting for an experienced cost clerk to join one of our clients site team in the Melton Mowbray area.

Main Purpose of Job:

To input and report on weekly plant and material costs within RDP.

Specific Tasks

Working day to day for the Cost Manager to:
Input weekly plant & material tickets into Oracle Costing System
Review Purchase Order Status Report with site teams for missing tickets.
Produce weekly cost reports and distribute to site teams / SSC.
Checking and using WBS Coding Structure
Invoice Query resolution - liaise with suppliers, procurement dept, site & SSC.
Review aged plant & material accruals.
Check site plant books and supplier live hire reports v`s plant report.

Quality & Document Control
Understand and implement the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets.
Comply, as appropriate, with the processes contained within the BMS.
Suggest improvements to the BMS when they become apparent.Person Specification

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Excel user who can manipulate data to provide easily available and understandable pivot tables.
Experience / interest in construction / engineering.
Own Transport essentialEDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Good grade in Standard Grade Maths - probably an Higher-level in MathsSKILLS

Good Communication Skills
Excellent IT skills - with experience of using PowerPoint, excel, outlook and use of the internet.
Attention to detail and ability to monitor accurately.
Good interpersonal skills - needed to chase and obtain raw data.
Logical and thoughtful
Reliable and Inquisitive
