About the Role: Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant - Lewisham

The role of a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant involves working closely with students, both in groups as well as one-to-one, to ensure that they follow the curriculum and that they receive the support they need to become more confident in their studies. You will also assist students in providing feedback on their work if needed. There are going to be a number of students coming to you for help with their core subjects, such as Maths, Science, and English. It is important to keep in mind that sometimes you will be required to assist in the non-core subjects such as music and food technology on days when there will not be any core subjects. In order for a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to be successful, he or she must have a positive attitude and be patient. In order to build relationships with the students, it is important to be approachable as a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant.
