GSL Education are seeking a skilled Chemistry Technician to join a dedicated science department at a vibrant secondary school in Canterbury. As a Chemistry Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of practical science lessons, ensuring that all equipment and materials are prepared and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for Chemistry lessons.
Assist teachers during practical lessons, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Maintain and organize laboratory resources, including chemicals and equipment.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, and laboratory safety standards are upheld.
Support the science department in developing and implementing engaging practical lessons.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a Chemistry Technician or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for science and a commitment to supporting students’ learning.
