HGV Class 2 Driver Multi Drop

Location – Yate

Salary - £16.00 per hour

Shift pattern/days worked – Monday - Friday.

Days 06.00am start time

We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing day shifts.

The role is HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver paper goods ensuring customers receive a high level of customer service, happy to do hand balling when needed.

Key tasks:

* Delivering items to customers

* HGV 2 - Multi Drop 5 - 10 drops

Duties:

* Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations

* Load and unload palletised goods using appropriate equipment either a electric or manual pump truck

* Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

* Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries

Requirements:

* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 1 years minimum experience

* Clean driving record with no major violations

* Proven experience as a truck driver with multi drop experience of palletised goods

* Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers

* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

* Strong communication and customer service skills
