The School and Role

This ‘Good’ Social Emotional and Mental Health setting based in Bolton are looking to appoint a passionate and charismatic Childrens Mental Health Assistant with experience of managing challenging behaviours. The desired Childrens Mental Health Assistant will be working 1:1 with individual students with SEMH needs, ensuring they are engaged and being able to de-escalate any challenging situations. This full time Children's Mental Health Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

Requirements

The desired Childrens Mental Health Assistant will:

Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
Have a supportive and dedicated nature, be an excellent communicator and be passionate about working with students and younger people
Be patient and caring
Be willing to work in the Bolton area
