The Role
With an HQ in Birmingham, you will be part of a highly skilled project implementation team where you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing control system designs that include PLC, HMI, Robotics and SCADA, to meet project requirements and specifications
Designing control system architectures, electrical schematics, and panel layouts using industry-standard software tools
Programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of automated systems
Conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely mannerThe Candidate
With proven knowledge and experience in the configuration and programming of automation equipment (2 years +) you will have worked within a manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive sector. As a self-starter with high levels of self-resilience you will be experienced in dealing directly with customers and or 3rd parties and have:

Proven experience in the design, programming, and implementation of automation control systems
Proficiency in PLC programming languages and experience with PLC hardware, preferably Allen Bradley or Siemens
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP) and other networking concepts
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA software packages (e.g., WinCC, RSView) and experience in developing intuitive graphical interfaces
Familiarity with Robot control systemsHow to Apply
