Vacancy Description: To carry out interior & exterior decorating & minor polishing to our properties

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Surrey

Salary: £32,500 + Benefits

This role requires flexibility during our busy season with regards to hours and days worked.

We are looking for a Decorator to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:

Key responsibilities:

· Painting and decorating of various size properties, internally & externally.

· Hanging and lining of wallpaper and quantifying wallpaper amounts.

· Painting walls, doors, windowsills & skirting boards etc.

· French polishing of woodwork.

· Supporting other trades professionals to produce an excellent finish.

· Other related tasks and dealing with all painting and decoration tasks as required.

· To execute workmanship to a high standard and ensure it is carried out in strict compliance with health and safety work act.

· Excellent skills and practical knowledge of all aspects of decorating.

· Seasonal shift & on call rota.

· Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.

· Any other duties as and when required.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities:

· Painting & Decorating qualifications – NVQ or City & Guilds.

· Knowledge of current building materials and their uses.

· Experience of special paint effects & French polishing.

· General knowledge of Building Regulations.

· Health & Safety and COSHH.

· Fit & Healthy with the ability assemble and erect scaffolding, and to climb ladders.

· Be able to follow specific instructions.

· Have practical ability and manual skills.

· Full Clean UK driving licence.

· Significant proven experience.
