Part-time Position (20 hours per week.)

Monday-Friday 4-hour shifts.

Temporary to Permanent position.

Paying £11.50 per hour.

Our client requires a warehouse operative to undertake all aspects of hygiene within the operational areas to comply with our BRC accreditation, food safety & health and safety legislation in line with organisational policies and procedures. This will be in a temperature-controlled environment.

This would be an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities for a warehouse cleaner;

* Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager and Team Leader

* Identifying and appropriately communicating any factors that may impact the operation.

* To ensure all hygiene tasks are completed safely and efficiently per company policies and procedures.

* Contribute to a positive site culture.

* Adopt an approach of continuous improvement

* Hygiene of cold stores, battery charging areas and loading bays

* Collect and bale waste wrap

* Ensure waste is removed from the operational areas to designated areas

* Assist with pallet control and preparation for removal from operational areas

* Working in Cold Store Environments

* Completion of relevant paperwork documents

* Following company policies and procedures

* An awareness of HACCP principles

The successful warehouse cleaner would need;

* Ability to demonstrate a proactive, “can do” approach

* Ability to work to tight deadlines

* Flexibility to respond positively and reliably to internal and external customer requests

* Must have the ability to work as part of a team or under own initiative

* Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in the role to ensure the operational areas are presented to a high standard.

* Have previous cleaning experience
