We are working with a Private Luxury Eye Clinic in Knightsbridge to recruit an experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse on a permanent full time basis.
Hours: Monday-Friday
Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse Duties:
* Assist all surgeons providing surgical procedures focusing on cataract and other cases.
* Provide pre and post operative eye care
* Assessing patients and ensuring their care is delivered and appropriate to their identified needs.
* Provide advice and information to patients as required to ensure their understanding of their treatment.
* Prepare the operating theatre ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
* Prepare all equipment and surgical sets in readiness for the planned operating list.
* Ensure all theatres are re-stocked.
Ideal Candidate:
* Registered Theatre Nurse or ODP
* NMC or HCPC Registration (No Restrictions or conditions on practice)
* Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse experience (Essential)
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Passionate about Ophthalmology and providing a high standard of care to patients.
