Our client is one of the leading civil engineering and construction organisations working in Wales, the English border counties, and the West of England. They are currently seeking a Site Agent to join their infrastructure team in North Wales.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Network Agent you will have worked in the construction industry, preferably on utility or civil engineering projects. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of their water framework.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Oversee delivery of project, set standards to facilitate high performing teams in line with Company H&S Roles & Responsibilities and legislative requirements. Ensure implementation of ITPs and Quality Plans.

- Ensure Management Plans and documentation & Contract specific requirements are produced in line with programme for project

- Ensure resource sufficient for type/complexity of project is in place to safely plan and deliver the project.

- Ensure project appointments in place for TWC, Permits, TSCO, Lifting etc

- Review Procurement in timely manner to enable best value procurement. Review/manage sub-contracts & deliveries.

- Assist in the production of Project Cost Plan and monthly updates, monitor progress to ensure project delivered to required targets.

- Manage site operations to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiency by understanding, adjusting and delivering an agreed scope & strategy based on tender principles. Agree & review with team all cost & productivity targets.

- Provide contract notifications in timely manner, ensure payment applications are issued and in line with project forecasts and expectations. Maintain project risk/opportunity register. Maintain site diary and accurate records.

- Temporary works on site

- Manage supervisors, suppliers and subcontractors

- Build collaborative teams

- Develop a proactive working relationship with Clients, Consultants and all Company personnel

- Manage customers and public impacted by their works.

Requirements:

Essential requirements:

- Educated to HNC or Degree level in Civil Engineering.

- NVQ Level 6 – Construction Site Management

- CSCS Black Managers Card Holder

- SMSTS or equivalent

- Temporary Works Coordinator

- Experience of using the NEC forms of contract

- Good organisational interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills

- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

- Good problem-solving skills; able to collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions

- Numeracy and analytical ability

- Commercial awareness

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Customer focus and the ability to build relationships
