Key Responsibilities:

Raw Material Sourcing: Oversee ingredient sourcing for new product development from concept to launch, ensuring timely completion and adherence to group procurement policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams, NPD Managers, and internal stakeholders to align on requirements, capabilities, and feedback.
Planning & Trials: Lead planning for high-risk components and participate in feasibility, handover, and factory trials.
Systems Management: Maintain data accuracy in Recipe Professor, System 21, AX, Foods Connected, manage item and supplier setups across systems, and handle purchase orders and invoices.
Communication: Provide key NPD details, such as order quantities, lead times, and pricing, to ensure smooth process trials and live production.

Requirements:

- 1+ year in a buying role within Food Manufacturing.
- Experience in a purchasing team environment.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Graduate level education or equivalent experience preferred.
- Full driving license required.
