Position: Teaching Assistant (KS1)

Qualification: Level 2

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of KS1 pupils. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification and experience in a similar role. You will work closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment, assisting with classroom activities, and providing one-on-one support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons
Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere
Assist in assessing and tracking student progress
Contribute to a safe and inclusive school environmentRequirements:

Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent
Previous experience working in a primary school setting, preferably in KS1
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
