A dedicated consultant as an additional layer of supportTHE ROLE: We are recruiting for an individual with administration experience and transferable skills to work within their friendly and welcoming HR team. You will be supporting the team inducting and training new staff members and dealing with a high volume of recruitment and onboarding. Tasks will be administrative and customer service based. This is a temporary role until the end of September therefore you must be available immediately and able to commit for the full duration.

KEY DUTIES:

Proactively and accurately, support the administration of our recruitment activity including:
Contacting candidates using phone and email
Preparing and printing interview packs
Liaising with managers to arrange shortlisting, interviews etc
General interview administration to include room booking, photocopying, printing, telephoning, email, letter writing.
Chaperoning candidates during interview assessment days
Diligently complete pre-employment checks ensuring safer recruitment checks in line with legal requirements, guidance and college processes and procedures including accurate administering and recording for staff, volunteers, associates, including:
Right to work
DBS checks
Obtaining appropriate references
Verifying and recording qualifications
Chasing of outstanding documentation related to pre-employment recruitment checks and onboarding to include phoning and emailing companies and employers and liaising with candidates.
Support the onboarding process of all staff, volunteers and associates as appropriate, including:
Making up hard copy files
Entering / uploading certificates and information onto the HR system
Post
Following and completing task checklists to ensure documentation in files is accurate to provide audit trail of compliance for Ofsted, Audit or HMRC inspections.KEY SKILLS:

Administration experience in an office environment or similar
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong IT and communication skills
Ability to develop good working relationships

An enhanced DBS will be required prior to commencing employment. If you have a recent DBS or are subscribed to the update service this would be desirable, however a full DBS check can be completed prior to the role commencing.
