Through a best-in-class operating model, digital transformation and innovative solutions in process efficiency, Trinity will replace more than 300 kilometres of assets every year for the next decade, enhancing Cadent’s mains and service network infrastructure and achieving long-term value for consumers.

Trinity are now looking for a Zone Planner to join their Planning Team. Reporting to the CMO Planning Manager. The Zone Planner develops and implements their programme of works for final approval by the CMO Planning Manager for work packages allocated within their individual organisation in support of the yearly contracted target.

Key Accountabilities

* Projects delivered on time and within budget

* Active management of project risks

* Constraints identified prior to project implementation

* Provide update and accurate project information

* No s74 costs

* Notification management: timely start application, timely application of extensions and timely closeout.

* Coordinated stakeholder and customer engagement – attend all Council meetings as required

Key Responsibilities

* Lead programme planning for Area ensuring projects delivery is on time and within budget

* Contribute to planning and design strategy for each project

* Facilitate Project Change control

* Proactively identify and highlight any progress issues which threaten successful delivery of the project, so that recovery action may be taken

* Identify constraints and risks within projects to produce an effective and accurate plan

* Plans and prioritises own work and that of planning assistants

* Will refer any issues that threaten project delivery to Leader Planner, Operation Manager

* Works within procedures at all times

* The CMO contract relies upon Zone Planner managing a programme of work that is regularly monitored and progress reported accurately weekly and monthly, providing transparency and early warning of issues
