Your new company
Hays are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality painting and decorating services on a variety of properties in and around the Dalkeith area.
Your new role

Preparation of surfaces for painting and decorating.
Application of paint, wallpaper and other finishes.
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Working well as part of the wider trades teamWhat you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a time-served or fully qualified Painter & Decorator, ideally with experience working in maintenance within domestic properties. As the role is mobile, you will need to have a valid UK Driving Licence and be able to make your own way to the depot for an 8am start.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a very long-term position on a standard Monday-Friday work pattern. We will pay you weekly PAYE with no additional charges, and you will have the option to have paid annual leave accrued. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant throughout your contract.
