Careers, Advice & Guidance Advisor

Reports to: Senior Careers Lead & Industry Placement Lead
Location: Coulsdon area
Salary: £32K-38K (Depending on experience)
Type: Full-timeDovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Coulsdon area.

Main Duties

Providing outstanding careers guidance, counselling and information to learners
Organisation of the careers resource area in working in partnership with the LRC, tutorial provision and Employer Services team
Researching and providing up to date reports that promotes local and national career opportunities and local market information and to keep learners and tutors informed of new developments and trends
To provide a drop in service and appointment service for learners
Train staff on HE applications, UCAS, employability skills and up to date careers IAG
Apprenticeship careers workshopsRequirements

Diploma in Careers Guidance/IAG Level 3-Level 6 (Salary DOE)
Experience and knowledge of offering and delivering careers IAG to KS4 up to level 4 learners as well as standard 16-18, apprenticeships and adult employability programmes on an individual basis or group basis
Commitment to improving the lives of young people
Able to pass a DBS check
No previous convictions
