Internal Sales Executive

We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans.
Working in a team of 5, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential.

* Salary: Up to £30k depending on experience
* Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or 8.30pm-5.30pm, office based
* 22 days holidays + Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities for the Internal Sales Executive:
* Maximises the potential of new and existing clients, principally through outbound verbal engagement.
* Builds strong personal relationships with new and existing clients
* Negotiates with clients and suppliers
* Submits quotes and converts
* Talking clients through the administrative requirements of shipping post Brexit
* Account management
* Attends and participates in Sales meetings
* Attends meetings via Zoom or face to face if circumstances permit with key accounts
For this Internal Sales Executive role the client is looking for:
* Customer service or operations experience
* Experience of negotiating with clients and or suppliers
* A Friendly telephone manner
* An energetic, enthusiastic personality
* Strong negotiating skills
* Good attention to detail
* A positive attitude and desire to succeed
