As the QA Technologist, you will be working with the talented Technical team, working autonomously supporting the stakeholders and the key contact relating to audits, food safety, certification and schedules.

The key responsibilities will include:
Manage, improve and develop site internal product safety and quality audit plans
Audit schedules are defined following risk assessment principles and kept in line with legislative requirements, industry and COP guidelines
Team members and stakeholders are working to ensure non-conformances identified, risk assessed, root cause investigated and corrective action implementation strategy followed through
Completing reports and monthly update analysis on the performance of the site and continuous improvement plans and completed in a timely fashion
Maintaining the QMS processes and procedures and ensuring regular review and update
Manage and maintain company HACCP system and align with BRC standards
Participate in internal, and external product safety and quality audits working across all departments to identify and highlight good and bad practices
Liaising with customers and suppliers
Analysing KPI's, trending and corrective actions

The successful attributes for the role must have UK manufacturing experience, HACCP and Food Hygiene/Safety qualifications, internal/external auditing experience, QMS and exposure to BRC and governing bodies would be advantageous.
Confident communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise with members of staff.
The position will suit a forward thinking and personable individual who works well in a team and with a keen passion for delivering the best customer service
