Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to work with a London-based private charity on a temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri) and involves working onsite within the prison service.

The client we are representing provides a service to support people in tackling issues relating to substance misuse, offering confidential information, advice, advocacy and treatment options with the aim to reduce reoffending. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within prisons and have prison clearance.

Main Duties:

* Organise, produce and maintain accurate records within designated area of work.

* Act as contact point for all communications to the team.

* Prioritise and distribute communications to the appropriate person(s) or relevant departments.

* Complete monitoring returns for area of work.

* Input requisitions on to the finance database and process requisitions.

* Prepare paperwork for checking by manager, conducting initial checks as required.

* Correspond with relevant stakeholders and agencies to ensure that they are aware of information so that information is adequately shared.

* Maintain and check establishment databases, manual filing systems and logs of information, responding within agreed timescales and producing reports as required.

* Collate information relating to relevant Service Delivery Indicators {SDIs).

* Act as secretary to meetings as required including organising agenda, taking, distributing minutes and action points.

Essential Criteria:

* Prison clearance.

* DBS certificate.

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

* Diary management experience.

* Experience of taking and distributing minutes.

* Previous administrative experience within a similar capacity.

Desirable Criteria:

* Experience of working within a recovery service.
