Role Overview:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, fostering a deep appreciation for literature and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging English lessons that spark curiosity and a love for literature.
Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, including project-based learning, multimedia resources, and interactive discussions.
Plan and implement a dynamic English curriculum that meets educational standards and challenges students to achieve their best.
Regularly assess student progress through creative assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Encourage students to analyze texts critically, form their own interpretations, and articulate their thoughts effectively.
Participate in and lead extracurricular activities related to English, such as book clubs, writing workshops, and school plays.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in English or a related field.
Proven experience teaching English, preferably across various key stages.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Competence in using technology to enhance learning and administrative tasks.
