Role Overview:
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the project planning and execution processes. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, working closely with the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, bid writers and other team members.
Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
Evaluate project risks and opportunities.
Maintain and update cost databases.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a construction estimator, preferably in the rail industry.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates.
