If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Learning Support and Behaviour Worker at our Behaviour Support Unit in Meadowfield, Durham.
**Position:** Learning Support and Behaviour Worker
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide targeted support to students with behavioural needs, both individually and in small groups.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour management plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and behavioural progress.
- Monitor and report on student behaviour and progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and structured environment within the Behaviour Support Unit.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting students' development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, behaviour management, psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
