Estimator - Structural Steelwork

We have an exciting opportunity for a Steelwork Estimator to join our clients well-established and successful steelwork fabrication company based nr Sandwell, West Midlands.

You should have experience as an estimator of Structural Steelwork. You can expect a very good starting salary, ongoing career potential and a friendly and supportive work environment.

Estimator duties include:

* Receiving enquires and reviewing drawings and specs.

* Work on your own, as well as with the in house Engineers and Estimators where needed to produce quotes for portal frame and beam and stick structures.

* Carrying out material take offs and assigning times/costs for the full scope of work.

* Liaise internally and externally if needed to ensure accurate pricing.

Estimator requirements:

* Proven experience working as an Estimator is essential.

* Experience working on varied structural steel is essential.

* Have excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.

* live in/within a commutable distance of the office – this is an office based role.
