We are currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join a leading construction and property consultancy based in Witney. Due to their on-going success, our client is looking to expand their knowledgeable team. They provide a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community.

Their services include architecture, building surveying, building services engineering, planning, interior design, sustainability, civil and structural engineering, quantity surveying, project management, CDM and health and safety services.

Building Surveyor Position Overview

Help prepare specifications and documents to enable projects to be tendered and to gain accurate costs from contractors.
Assist in preparation of any necessary building regulation or planning applications and monitor and deal with as necessary through discussions with the necessary authorities.
Draw, design and specify varying sizes of projects.
Assess tenders and make recommendations to clients.
Chair and minute Project Progress Meetings.
Deliver all administration of the construction contract.
Control expenditure and ensure that schemes are completed within budget/on time.
Negotiate and settle final accounts with Contractors.
Complete tasks as assigned by the team leader.
Meet annual and monthly fee targets as directed by the Office Partner

Building Surveyor Position Requirements

Degree/Masters in Building Surveying
3-4 years or more of relevant experience
MRICS qualified or on the APC route
Varied project and sector experience
Project Management experience

Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

Salary: £35k-£65k DOE
Hybrid Working
Holidays: 28 Days + Bank Holidays
