Responsibilities:

Perform a range of groundworking tasks including excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Utilize plant/vehicle marshal skills to coordinate the movement of vehicles and machinery on site.
Assist in ensuring the safe loading, unloading, and movement of materials and equipment.
Conduct regular safety checks on machinery and equipment, reporting any defects or issues.
Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and other tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow and site safety.
Adhere to project specifications, drawings, and health and safety regulations.Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS Plant/Vehicle Marshall ticket.
Proven experience as a groundworker in the construction industry.
Competency in operating relevant machinery such as excavators, dumpers, and rollers.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Preferred qualifications:

Additional construction-related certifications or training.
