Hourly Rate: £35.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Permanence Team in Oldham. This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to securing stable, long-term placements for children and young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake comprehensive assessments to determine the best permanence plan for children, including adoption, long-term fostering, and kinship care.
Develop, implement, and review care plans to ensure they meet the individual needs of each child.
Work collaboratively with children, families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to support the permanence process.
Provide direct support and guidance to children and their carers throughout the permanence planning and placement process.
Participate in and contribute to multi-agency meetings, including panel meetings and care planning reviews.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
Offer support and mentoring to less experienced team members as needed.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
Registered with Social Work England.
Significant experience in permanence planning, adoption, or long-term fostering within a statutory setting.
Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, carers, and professionals.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.Benefits:
