My client is looking for a mechanic to join their team with the view to develop them into a master technician. There will be further room to progress, and this will be done through external qualifications as well as gaining exposure to different work to build your skill set.

This company are one of the leading names in the transport sector employing over 20,000 staff nationally. They have a consistent track record of developing their staff through a tried and tested development plan.

This will be a varied role working on anything from small repairs through to carrying out MOT's and engine rebuilds - training on this will be provided. You will play a key role in maintaining their fleet and will get many opportunities to further your skillset in this role.

The Role:

* Maintain fleet of vehicles at site

* Carry out basic repairs through to MOTs, daily servicing and on road breakdowns

* Consistent training and development - including fully funded external course

The Candidate:

* Previous experience in a mechanic role - all levels of experience considered

* Driving License

* Commutable to Bedford
