We are seeking a Lead AIT Technician to join our UK team in developing cutting-edge equipment and subsystems. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team, supporting the manufacturing and testing processes critical to mission success.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct kitting builds and PCB assembly (including both surface-mount and through-hole soldering).

* Manufacture harnesses and assemble flight equipment, with a focus on sensitive optical instruments.

* Execute and oversee test campaigns on flight equipment and coordinate with external testing facilities.

* Support test reviews and maintain the labs and clean room environment, including performing goods-in inspections.

* Ensure thorough documentation of all processes and findings.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

* A BTEC or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field.

* Hands-on experience working in a clean room environment.

* Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to following and enforcing lab procedures.

* Proven experience in manufacturing and testing environments.

* Ability to follow manufacturing processes and apply stringent build standards.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Knowledge of engineering standards, preferably ECSS.
