The role is Mon-Fri, working on a rotating 6am-2pm shift. The primary responsibility is to assist the team in the reduction of downtime, ensuring engineering problems are resolved to keep production moving.

Who This Job Would Suit:

This role is ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with at least two years of experience in technical or engineering roles within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, possess strong diagnostic skills, and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Experience in the textiles industry is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team to maintain and repair machinery.
Conduct preventive maintenance and rectify minor issues.
Improve machine cleanliness and reduce maintenance time.
Lubricate textile equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Provide feedback on maintenance issues and implement improvements.
