My Client is the approved logistics partner for one of the UK’s largest Supermarket Chains which has developed consolidated logistics centres in Hinckley & Lutterworth. Ideally located in striking distance of the Key UK ports and more importantly the UK Retailer warehouses.
Working 24 hours a day, 363 days a year. My Client moves goods to & from the Felixstowe, Southampton & Liverpool ports back to their base in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
My Client has a fleet of brand new vehicles with the right balance of economy and quality, and with multi-temperature trailers they offer the best conditions for the delivery of goods.
Job role will include: Collection of containers fromt he UK ports which are to be delivered back to my Clients base in Lutterworth.
Shift patterns; 5 days per week Monday - Friday. 14:00 start. Average 10-12 hours per day.
Over time is available.
Container vehicles.
Collection of containers from ports around the UK. Port cards will be required.
Complete POD's & Return them to the transport office.
Ensuring goods are safely secured.
Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs.
PAY RATES DRIVERS (holiday pay seperate)
PAYE
MON - FRI £14.50
SAT & SUN £16.50
Over time shifts £15.50 week day £17.50 weekends.

What we are looking for:
A valid full category C+E Licence (Class 1) LGV C+E Experience required with a minimum of 6 months relevant driving experience.
No more than 3 points on driving licence.
NO DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions
Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria
Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail.
Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
