We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a part-time teaching position at a welcoming primary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, starting in September 2024.
Role Overview: As an ECT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education to primary school pupils. You will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff, gaining valuable experience while fostering a love for learning among your students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate educational activities.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
