The Opportunity
Due to the project ramping up, a fantastic opportunity has become available to join a leading Chemical manufacturing business, specialising in developing innovative solutions to challenging projects where you will be responsible for carrying out E/I Maintenance activities to help achieve business requirements.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Operate within Responsible Care policies to include regulatory compliance with site standards, procedures, and national regulations.
Carry out maintenance activities on high- hazard chemical systems, critical equipment SIL, ATEX, ESD, DCS.
You will also carry out maintenance activities in hazard environments, MEWP, working at height/ flammable atmosphere.
To Carry out preventative, predictive & breakdown maintenance to meet all business required by business.
Day-to-day plant maintenance support.
To provide some leadership with contractors during shutdown activities as required.
Responsible for plant cover 24/7 from a day role as part of a call-out rota and completing a reasonable amount of out-of-hours support.
Represent the department in HAZOP function, providing support and expertise when required.
Support all CAPEX activities on a large scale from design, build or commissioning of equipment.
Support, own, or control any continuous improvement activities or projects identified within the manufacturing teams.
Responsible for incident reporting to the line manager or inputting into the recording system.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Minimum ONC or equivalent in the required engineering discipline.
COMPEX.It’s great if you also have the following
HNC in the required engineering discipline
