Do you have instrumentation technician experience, and are you seeking a new contract in the UK? NES Fircroft is helping a major oil and gas operator find a full-time Instrumentation Technician (Offshore), and the role comes with an attractive contract rate.

  In this Offhsore Instrumentation Technician role, you will be working 2 weeks on 2 weeks off on a rotational basis, with 12 hour shifts.

  In your first few weeks in this Instrumentation Technician role, you can expect to:

Plan and carry out preventative maintenance tasks to required standards and procedures
Complete work orders and ensure generation of new work requests to highlight plant and equipment failure
Provide assistance for projects, working with vendors and sub-contractors as required
Manage spares and test gases to enable testing/calibration of gas monitors. 

  To be considered for these roles, candidates must have active BOSIET / MIST as well as the existing right to work in the UK. You will also need: At least 5 years of experience working in the onshore/offshore oil & gas industry with a time-served trade apprenticeship. In addition, you should have an HNC qualification in a relevant subject and bepex certified.
