Job Location: Penryn, Cornwall
Salary: £25k - £30k p.a

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Planner to join our clients team in Penryn on a permanent basis. As a Manufacturing Production Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring production schedules are met through careful production planning and materials management

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain conversion schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Plan and coordinate the use of eight conversion assets and packing area.
Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to align schedules with customer requirements.
Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to address any delays or changes in priority.
Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
Communicate lead times and any changes effectively to all stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and reports on production and conversion activities.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve planning processes and efficiency.
Skills/Experience Required:

Proven experience in a planning or scheduling role, preferably within a manufacturing environment - Essential.
Previous Line Management - Desirable
Problem Solving / Process Improvement and application of - Desirable.
Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing qualification - Desirable
Familiarity with ERP/ MRP Systems - Desirable
Proficiency in planning and scheduling software - Desirable
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Forward-thinking and proactive approach.
Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Hours/Benefits:

40-hour week with 30 min unpaid break
Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00
