Remit:

* Great opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join a forward-thinking company at their modern facility during a period of sustained business growth

* This position will suit a skilled Mould Setter / Technician with strong injection moulding processing and machinery knowledge

* The successful candidate will have extensive opportunities for further training and development through Sierra 57’s onsite Mould Training Division

Role:

* In the role of Injection Moulding Setter you will provide tool change support and maintenance cover for key machines

* As Injection Moulding Setter you will ensure mould changes are carried out to a high standard in line with manufacturing specifications in a timely manner

* Working closely with the leadership team to improve reliability and productivity of machines and equipment

* Carrying out planned and low level maintenance work in a safe and timely manner

* Assisting and supporting in the carrying out of production improvement projects

* Carrying out tool changes to ensure maximum availability of machines

* Ensure facilities upkeep is maintained

* Overseeing the operation of plastic injection moulding machines in the absence of the plant supervisor

* Assist with the training of new operators

Experience Requirements:

* Industry recognized injection moulding qualifications

* Experience carrying out full tool changes and setting up production machines

* Solid understanding of plastic injection moulding processes and automation

* Experience of working with and carrying out basic preventative maintenance on injection moulding machinery

* Good problem solving skills

* Ability to work effectively to own initiative
