Senior Service Advisor
Our client are currently looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Service Advisor with a commercial vehicle background. As our new Service Advisor, you will join our friendly team which will see you working 5 days a week and alternative Saturdays.
As a Service Advisor, you will provide outstanding customer care and be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You will inform and consult on vehicle maintenance, repairs and keep the customer up to date at every stage whilst answering any questions or queries they may have.
You will also liaise with technicians/workshop about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time. You will have the ability to give the best advice on our products and services to our customers. As a Senior you will help drive performance of your colleagues as well helping the team give the best Customer Service.
This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first, you'll take the time to talk to customer and supplier, build a genuine rapport and identify exactly what our customers want and need.
Ideally, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail. A strong customer service background is required as you will be delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a very busy and demanding environment.
Main duties:
* Providing exceptional customer service using various forms of communication in person, phone and email.
* Assist with the daily planning of vehicles in the workshop ensuring full utilisation of time available. This is of the utmost importance to maximise productivity.
* Liaise with parts suppliers and ordering parts.
* Updating customers on their vehicle progress whilst in our workshop
* Booking and scheduling services, MOT’s required for customers.
* Dealing with customer queries.
* To provide effective day to day workshop administration from job card to invoice.
* To understand company key performance targets and support your colleagues and team to achieve them.
* To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing alongside some of our fully skilled Service Advisors.
* To attend recognised courses of instruction and achieve the correct pass mark for each course.
* To assist with general housekeeping duties required within the service reception area.
As a Service Advisor we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:
Experience working with Commercial Vehicles:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience with an understanding of vehicle repairs
* Display a high level of customer service
* IT Literacy including Office, Outlook and spreadsheet usage
* Brilliant levels of communication written and verbal
* Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible.
