Factory Supervisor

Location: Gloucester

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm

Salary: £14 - £15 per hour

Our client is looking for a Factory Supervisor to join their team, reporting to the Production Manager, working in the conjunction with the Production Supervisor and Office Purchaser, and taking charge of a small team.

Key Responsibilities of a Factory Supervisor:

* To attend daily meetings with other key staff advising any operational problems.

* To report any non-conformance materials in accordance with departmental procedures.

* To ensure that finished goods are inspected and wrapped appropriately in a timely manner and in a line with despatch deadlines.

* To supervise the loading of despatch vehicles in accordance with delivery lists.

* To plan the unloading and storage pf delivered goods in a safe way.

* To ensure that all associated materials are saftley and secured located within the factory prior to the end of the day.

* To supervise the day to day house keeping so that the department is always presented in a clean, tidy and professional way.

* To ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.

Key Skills of a Factory Supervisor:

* Pro-active with a can-do attitude

* Self-motivated while motivating others.

* Previous Management / Supervisor experience is desirable
