Quantity Surveyor – Reactive

The Role:

We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading property services companies. Together we are seeking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of reactive maintenance projects and oversee scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong cost management skills and experience in planning and scheduling maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for reactive maintenance projects.

* Develop and manage maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

* Handle the tendering process, including preparing and evaluating bids.

* Monitor project expenditures and prepare regular financial reports.

* Oversee contract terms and ensure compliance.

* Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with maintenance projects.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with specific experience in reactive maintenance and scheduling.

* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

* In-depth understanding of reactive maintenance processes and scheduling techniques.
