Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and Preparation: Develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the Year 1 curriculum, ensuring a balanced approach to learning that caters to the needs of all students.

- Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality, dynamic, and inclusive lessons that foster a love for learning and support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.

- Assessment and Marking: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records. Conduct formative and summative assessments to inform future teaching strategies.

- Classroom Management: Create a positive and safe learning environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and a growth mindset among students.

- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student learning and well-being. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

- Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, preferably Year 1

- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices

- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
