We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join us from September on a full time basis. This will start as a temporary role through our trusted recruitment partner and will become a permanent role. 

Position: Mental Health Teaching Assistant

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £12.90 per hour

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Social, emotional and mental health needs
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to meet the needs of students effectively
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable
You MUST have a visa to work in the UK (we are not able to offer sponsorship)
Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning and behavior
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
