Stores Person

We are looking for an experienced Stores Person to work for a manufacturing site in Ipswich, Suffolk.

You will need your own form of transport & an in-date counterbalance forklift license to be considered for this role.

We are open to the level of the experience of candidates, with a salary that's circa £27,000, subject to experience.

Stores Person duties include: -

Maintain the stores / warehouse in a professional manner ensuring the computer records are accurately maintained in accordance with the company procedures.
Daily booking in and out of components, kits & finished products to achieve on time delivery of customer's orders.
Regularly reconcile physical stock to computerised records
Ensure parts are organised for the production team
Identify and record problems with bills of material or assemblies to conform with ISO9001
Book in goods received.
Pack & dispatch completed orders.
Load and unload deliveries whilst operating a counterbalance fork truck

Previous warehouse experience is essential, but some training will be provided. You must be computer literate & ideally familiar with stock control (SAP) systems.

39 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00.

This is a permanent, full-time position subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
