Job Description:

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking proactive and dedicated Family Safeguarding Consultant Social Workers to join our teams in both West (Apsley) and East (Stevenage). As a Consultant Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting families and ensuring the welfare and safety of vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert social work interventions and guidance within the Family Safeguarding framework.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement effective interventions to address the needs of children and families.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive family support.
Utilise advanced social work skills to continually improve service delivery.
Engage in reflective practice, sharing knowledge and expertise within the team.Requirements:

Hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
Possess a minimum of 1 year post-qualifying experience in a social work role.
Completion of ASYE, demonstrating a strong foundation for professional practice.Benefits:
