Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional organisation in the Edgbaston area who are seeking a dynamic Head Chef to join their busy and successful restaurant.

Duties and tasks will include:

To plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the Company's reputation for food quality is enhanced within the membership and stakeholders.
Responsible for compliance of Health, Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations.
Drive sales through diverse menu plans and promotions and ensure compliance through preferred suppliers. Provide high quality service to the membership in line with a food service offer that is benchmarked against premium establishments in the local area.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with the membership and stakeholders.
Take an active part in any sales promotions and drive initiatives to help increase sales
Ensure your teams support and drive sales by implementing marketing promotions and initiatives
Taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what they fail to do.Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

City & Guilds 706/1, 2 or NVQ Level 2 or similar qualification
Experience of leading a successful team
Experience in an Exec or Head Chef role at a similar level
Demonstrate innovation and strategic direction in food planning and menu development
Passion about food and customer service
Knowledge of working to a budget and achieving GP
Food Hygiene CertificateThe role will be five days per week which will be anything between Monday and Sunday and 8 hour shifts will be anything between 8am to 10pm.
