Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team, covering all areas in Key Stage 3 and 4 in a Secondary School in Bexhill. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in the study of English literature and language, fostering a love for the subject and supporting them in achieving their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel.
Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching strategies.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, fostering positive relationships and maintaining open lines of communication.
Requirements:

Experience teaching English at the secondary school level, preferably within the UK education system.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
