Role

Quality Manager to manage the delivery of project quality, this role also aligns with team objectives, vendor management strategies, business processes and cross-group collaboration efforts with the Data Centre Development Project Strategy.

Key Deliverables

The following duties fall within the purview of this role:

* Building client relationship management and efficiency in quality and control.

* Manage a quality focused worksite for a data centre project.

* Collaborate with the clients stakeholders and internal groups to maintain the corporate vision and goals for the project.

* Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.

* Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.

* Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.

* OFCI support that pertains to MEP and OFCI

* Integration support that pertains to MEP/OFCI including areas of Early Access or Building Usage and handover.

* Monitor and validate implementation of the CQ/IM plan during the construction phase relating to all disciplines including mechanical, electrical and architectural.

* Carry out weekly inspections with the GC and Client team.

* Monitor and track closeout snags and issues upon delivery of equipment.

Experience & Education

* At least 5+ years of industry experience in a project management or program management role management position, preferably in the MEP project Management capacity

* Must have, at minimum, a bachelor (level) degree preferably in a technical field.

* A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.

Skills & Attributes

* Self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills.

* Fuent English is required, other languages are considered as an asset.

* Ability to work as a team member (excellent inter-personal skills) A team player who is not afraid to ask for support when needed.

* Highly motivated and results oriented.

* Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

* Observe proper standards of market, business, and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity in the execution of duties.

* Convey a sense of urgency and drive initiatives to closure during critical project stages.

* Demonstrate flexibility, integrity and be credible with partners and internal contacts.

* Technology savvy with interest in, and experience with Smart Buildings.

* Strong Project Management & organizational skills.

* Positive stakeholder management and engagement.

* Engineering or Mechanical background is essential.

* Experience with Google Workspace tools (G Suite etc.) beneficial but not essential.
