Are you an experienced sports coach looking to make a positive impact in education? ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cover Supervisor to join our team in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your coaching skills in a school environment, covering PE and various other subjects.

About the role

You will be expected to supervise and manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teachers by delivering pre-set lessons. You will need to manage student behavior effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, with a focus on PE.
Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.
Support students' learning and development.
Assist with the organization and delivery of sports activities and events.

Cover pre-set general/PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:

Previous experience working with children within the last 10 years.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt to various subjects and teaching styles.
Flexibility to work and adapt to different situations.
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Previous experience working with children within the last 10 years.
