Location: Burton on Trent
Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Woodville Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This full-time role focuses on providing additional support to children who need extra assistance to thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with classroom teachers to support children who require additional help.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions.
Prepare and organize learning materials and resources.
Assist with the supervision of children during break times and school activities.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress and any concerns.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
