Ecologist

TSR are working with a long-standing client who are looking for an Ecologist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This position will see the Ecologist be an integral part of their Environmental and Sustainability Division, this position will be on a hybrid basis with some travel across the UK where needed.

The Ecologist will be:

* Conducting field work for first and Phase 2 surveys,

* Completing the associated reports and conducting environmental impact assessments.

* Liaise with clients, project managers and stakeholders, and work closely with our arboriculturist.

Qualifications needed for the Ecologist:

* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field

* Experience in ecological, habitat and wildlife assessment and identification, field work, and botany

* Proficiency in report writing and conducting environmental impact assessments

* CIEEM membership - Associate or higher

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Ability to work independently and in a team

* Full UK Driving License

The following would be advantageous:

* Protected Species License(s).

* Demonstrable consultancy experience.
