Automotive Steering Engineer

Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, who are looking to recruit an Automotive Steering System Engineer, to join their team on a contract basis. The role is based within a major Automotive Research and Development facility in Bedfordshire.

The Steering System Engineer will primarily be responsible for:

* Developing Steering systems at system / module level
* Managing suppliers
* Ensure regulation and safety performance are met
* Managing test validation, cost performance, part quality / reliability
* Simulation analysis on steering systems
* Competitor benchmarking

To be considered for the Automotive Steering System Engineer role, you will have the following experience and skills:

* Ideally Degree or HND qualified in a relevant discipline
* Experience within Steering System, Brake Modulation and Electric Booster development
* Ability to understand new technologies and systems
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Skilled in investigating and resolving software logic related concerns

You are required to hold a valid driving licence and must be willing to travel globally when required.
