Worldwide Prestigious Security Company are looking for a Quality Inspector to join them at their Leicester Electronics manufacturing base.

Location – LE19

Pay Rate - £12ph

Job Outline:

Carry out incoming parts / finished product inspection, and quarantine any non-conforming parts / products found in QC inspection.

Produce inspection report after the inspection, and retain the order of the inspection documents at QC inspection area.

The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and care passionately about the delivered Quality of our products.

Experience of working within the electronics industry would be beneficial with strong data and product failure analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

* To carry out inspection on incoming components (or sub-assemblies) and finished product from production or CEM (visual and functional) against the approved quality inspection plan by applying quality inspection standard (such as AQL standard or sampling standard)

* To complete the required critical dimensional inspection of plastic parts that received from plastic moulder against engineering drawings/inspection plan using equipment including digital Vernier, pin gauges and shadowgraph.

* Quarantine any non-conforming parts and communicate the inspection outcome with the production operation team for recovery plan (such as rework, replacement arrangement).

* Able to work in a repeat inspection routine, with some understandings in the important of quality inspection criteria.

* Must be confident in deciding any non-conforming / defects found during the inspection and reject the batch if the batch is found to be unfit / unacceptable to AUEM quality acceptance criteria.

* Enter the inspection completion on the device movement platform (PTC system).

* Provide feedback of any suspicious quality / functional issues to the relevant staff (warehouse/production/procurement/engineering).

* Assisting with the creation of inspection plan and any relevant quality documentation.

* Responsible for maintaining the goods-in/finished product inspection records / documents in an organised manner.

* Ensuring the inspection area is maintained within health and safety guidelines and the safety of others within the department (quality/warehouse/production).
